A tagline for a friend of mine, Bruce Kuhs is “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail”.
As we approach the end of a calendar year, most of us feel an excitement about the new possibilities of the next year. How we approach the new year, usually determines, to a certain extent, the end of the year.
This year, once again, our sales people will be traveling to our West Allis facility to plan for the next year. We don’t concentrate on ‘the numbers’ as much as the process. With the economic conditions in flux, the political system a mess and each persons’ personal influence, the process is the key.
Making sure the sales people have targets, ways to get things done and focus on new products or product lines is our goal for this session.
This may not be the ‘right’ way for everyone, it works for us.
Happy Thanksgiving and have a good run to the finish of 2014.
